English 11 College Prep
English 11 CP is one of 4 required English courses for graduation. We will build on the skills taught in English 9 and 10, with special emphasis given to career selection and preparation, preparation for the SBACC test with the EAP embedded, college preparedness, and continuing work on ERW writing skills modeled by Cal State San Marcos as part of RBV's pact with them for admissions. Students will be expected to attend class, be prepared, work hard, and ask for guidance when needed. Text books and any necessary hand outs will be provided by the school and through online learning, but other materials are the responsibility of the student. Our classes will be mostly operating online through Google Classroom. The Aeries Portal is key for grades, so please utilize Aeries to monitor your progress. I try to update it weekly.
